Since 1999 Cafe Culture has been providing architecture and design customers with quality and custom furniture. Cafe Culture’s dynamic and versatile collection of internationally sourced, world-class products has seen Cafe Culture contribute on some of the most exciting and innovative projects in Australia this century.

Cafe Culture prides itself on having an outward view while maintaining a strong, localised focus, fusing popular European and British brands with talented, authentic Australian designers and brands. The company’s in depth involvement in the finishing and delivery of all products and projects is supported by strong relationships with its partnering brands and close, one-on-one relationships with its manufacturers and craftspeople.

Currently delivering projects Australia-wide, Cafe Culture specialises in commercial, hospitality, retail, education and residential sectors, drawing on strong and long-standing relationships within the industry to facilitate the successful completion of major Australian projects.

The joining of Cafe Culture + Insitu in November 2013 will see the company continue to develop its range and service offering, and strengthen its industry relationships while supporting local craftspeople, manufacturers and designers.

Insitu was incorporated in 1998 with the sole purpose of servicing clients in the seating and workstation areas. In 2001 Insitu became independent, and went on to build a strong reputation for supplying product for a broad range of design and contract needs, while also introducing new solutions for institutional and aged care sectors.

Answering a rising demand in the market for high-end production of timber and textiles, Insitu offers design and product solutions that cater for both residential and commercial break-out spaces.

Having operated in the architecture and design industry for 15 years, Insitu is renowned for its exclusive representation of high profile furniture manufacturers from countries as diverse as Italy, Germany, Austria and the USA, as well as local Australian manufacturers. Fundamental to Insitu’s relationships is a shared commitment to purity of materials and constancy of form within manufacturing.

The joining of Cafe Culture + Insitu sees the company’s long history with the Australian architecture and design market continue, with a strengthened service offering, greater distribution and an expanded product offering.
