The Melbourne-based office space of Clayton Utz Law Firm, designed by Hassell, was designed to accommodate 260 staff over three levels of roughly 2200 square metres each, with an internal void and stair connecting all levels of the tenancy.

Reflecting a hospitality or residential look and feel, the material palette reflects the transformation and also reveals the Melbourne laneway context in a fully flexible workplace environment that can evolve, change and adapt over time.

Featured in this workplace project, are the timber FABLE chairs, low stools and bar stools in natural and black stained oak, as well as custom tables using the CATERPILLAR table bases in black with Caesarstone table tops, all designed by Ross Didier for Didier. Locally designed and made.

This is an Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2017 shortlisted project in the Workplace over 1,000sqm category. Award-winners will be announced on 24 November 2017.

Design Nation is a proud sponsor of IDEA 2017.
