Launched at Design Post at Orgatec 2016 in Cologne, the new RAIL office table collection, designed by Kaschkasch for Zeitraum, is an exciting modular table and desk system.
A fresh breeze is blowing through the office landscape: work is no longer just a means to an end. Creativity does not end at the workplace. While we share the office space with our colleagues, our personal workplace becomes a private comfort zone.
With the individual components of the highly flexible RAIL series, desks can be adjusted to individual needs: add a high desk here, another table top there or install a pinboard for visualising ongoing projects or simply for pinning up those holiday postcards.
With its connectable modular components, RAIL offers a range of tables that can be combined to create structured spaces in offices, studios or agencies. Jointless table tops and movable trestles define the system’s studio character. Quickly and easily extendable, RAIL allows for flexible interior concepts and for functional, personalised workplaces. RAIL’s light and studio-like appearance can also be transferred to the home: in a few simple steps, the conference table can be turned into a large dining table for the home.

RAIL table: is a table with a casual studio character. The frameless table top makes the table appear light and simple. The construction of the table trestles is visible. Optionally an extension leaf can be used to extend the table on both sides. To do so, the trestles are pushed to the centre underneath the joint to support the extension leaf.
